Example #4080
Industry writers are shaaaaaaaady.
Background stories can be found @ DJF and of course The one that started it all.
The follow up is here.
I'm just laughing at the idiocy of Rosenthal. He is on a bender attacking Jarrod even though it's clearly obvious the only person to take his article on this tailspin is the reporter John Gonzalez.
He's literally the one in the middle. HE is the one who took the story out of context and misinterpreted it. He keeps going on and on about the power of blogs and it could get out everywhere. That is true, except you should be the one following that rule. Just because some blogger wrote a post on HIS site, (a site which you also know is one man's opinion) doesn't give you the right to not do your own research and form your own opinions in your own article. An article that you not only get paid to write but ironically is the essence of your distraction point (power of blogs and it's reach). I'm pretty sure The Philadelphia Inquirer has a higher page rank than some dudes blog. So it was YOU who needs to be careful and realize the power of your own keystrokes.
Ken, well, breathe man. Next time take a breath before you defend yourself even when you weren't being attacked or in danger of losing your coveted "spot".

Baseball Boss
Baseball Boss is the best baseball simulation game to play online for free. This unique online baseball game combines fantasy baseball and virtual baseball cards. I know not sounding too cool, but fun still. I'll try it. Found it via MLB Trade Rumors site.

My wacko MLB 09 season prediction
Both the Mets and Yankees with their annual big ticket overhaul ... will both do worse than the non-active nearly comatose Jays.
Cashman ... CC is actually a risk and once again you overpaid and the second you sign AJ for anything over a dollar you overpaid.
One or in the case of CC a couple of moderately good years does not warrant giant contracts.
Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens, Roy Halladay .etc those types deserve monster contracts. Yes I said Doc alongside those 2. What he'll be the 2nd Jay inducted into the HOF (after Robbie next year) and probably have the most complete game wins of all-time ... or at least finishes.
Mets ... remember Johan and Pedro. Not a good comparison actually, because that game ending duo of Putz to K-Rod can only be rivaled by the equally intimidating tandem of Accardo and Armstrong. Pushing it. I know.

Snore Series? WHAT????
I just saw some BS piece on CNN about the WS being a bore. WHAT? Look no cache teams are in it. I get it. Relax this is some great fun ball played by some great kids who are on the way to THEIR PRIME. The same people u will drool over when they become Red Sox, Dodgers, Angels, Yankees, Mets .etc are playing now ... in one awesome showcase.
If you think this is wack .. even if u have no teams to "root" for then u should never watch any game ever. Good riddance to your fair-weather fandom.
Oh and I whole heartedly agree, which is why I watch the International broadcast. Also I hate that bar across the top.
