Random Asian Thoughts

Living where I am now I am now even MORE exposed to Asian life in the city, and well it's interesting. Or rather MY thoughts on what I see are ... odd.

Two Asian people speaking English to each other actually disturbs and confuses me.

Those FULL face sun visors are stupid looking enough when you are walking. Now imagine an OLD, CHINESE, WOMAN driving with a vision impairment accessory ON HER FACE!!! That is not a good look. That's 4 driving detriments. I'm afraid even from across the street.

Living where I have lived and having enough Asian friends will give me this liberty to shoot my mouth off. Even if it doesn't you know I'm an equal opportunity disser. This final thought comes from pain and frustration. I KNEW it would happen, and was even more angry that it did.

So I'm coming from my locker area on the parking level and there is an Asian chick visiting. She is in front of me and sees me with 2 boxes up to my face and still continues to go through the door without opening. Ok fine I can deal with that.

But now she is calling her friend to let her in. I come by and say "It's ok I can let you in. I flash my FOB and the door unlocks. The next 30 seconds was predicted by me exactly and the fact it actually came to fruition just pisses me so much off. She smiled, didn't even hang up her call to her friend and then proceeded into the elevator area and din;t even hold the door open. I had my hands full with boxes stacked to my face, I even struggled a bit to pass the FOB over the entrance thing and she just walked in like a f*ckin ignorant princess like I was SUPPOSED to let her in and struggle while doing it.

To top that audacity off, the door recoiled and my forefinger slammed into the steel door and it is still hurting as I type. Still no budge to help open the door as I now do my familiar leg dance with the door to re-open it. She is now in the elevator and guess what the door starts closing as I leap in. She didn't even keep THAT door open for me.

The final icing was she was a visitor to my neighbor. Like right beside me! I grumbled all the way to my unit then smiled as I opened the door. I do this alot lately. I love my place.

Ok so that may have just been one random Asian beyotch and I'm labeling, but no. For every smiley smiley, polite, friendly one there are 55 unfriendly, unsocial (to "foreigners") ones who ONLY do good things to OTHER Asians (but only of their descent. I've never seen a Chinese person be courteous to a Korean for instance). Ok so that's my rant for today. Don't be mad you know it's true to some extent.

Every morning when I get on the train and see a group of Asians, I immediately wonder where the sweatshop they are going to work in, is.

Then I start scoping them out and wonder if the guy across from me, can really afford a tag Heuer. I mean so what if he's got 3 teeth left, wacky hairdo, and socks with sandals on.

Does taht make me racist?
