Ph@ Cave Dismantle: Phase 1

So everyone knows part of the reason n8itude has been in disarray as of late is my life is majorly changing. After a long while that was supposed to be temporary I'm finally leaving the ph@ cave and moving into my own condo...permanently.

I'm not gonna get into why I came back "home" and why I ended up here for so long even when it was supposed to be a short stay. It just happened.

A few odd interesting things happened while I was here; 9/11 of course, NHL Strike, I've had 3 vehicles and 3 computers, my pet scorpion died and a family dog moved in. The Yankees never won the entire time I was here, infact the losing streak STARTED when I got here...hmmm.. Yankees win in 08!!

Other stuff has happened obviously I will reminisce later. This "series" of posts will be me riding through memory lane while packing/cleaning/disassembling my "cave".

The cave is infamous in the land of nWo T dot, as it is home to some of the greatest event in it's history, not to mention it's a museum of sorts dedicated to my many many ... many hobbies and interests.

Sports, comics, toys, geekery, wrestling, hip hop, reggae, djing, clothing ... I like stuff. All of that was featured in a taped episode of "nWo Cribs". It IS what you think it is.

These pics will be from Day 1, right before I taped the feature to show the room in it's LAST and full joy. Every further post will just be a running image diary of the erasure of the nWo T Dot Eastern HQ.

Yes, I have a lot of hats as you will see. The far wall is just my Jays and Yankees caps.

The baseball wall with Rickey Henderson tribute.

I got that Demolition poster at WM 6 in 1990. One of the oldest things I own.

The epitome of open-concept, I refused to have a door on my closet. You say messy, I say accessible.

Shut up I know it looks like I'm still in High School. What, dems was fun times.

The lobby/foyer. Nuff shoes, more caps (cheese head from Wisconsin!!), Guyana pride.

Too bad I never took a pic UP the lobby stairs when the LJN 80s Wrestlers Army guarded the cave entrance, but you can still see what it looked like sans-army when Boyoh made his debut to Cave.

My bad here's a couple pics, the Hostess sticker collection from WM4 (2nd oldest thing I have).

Hitman Undertaker Summerslam poster. Now that's how you know you're about to step into the cave.

My half kitchen .. I drink here mostly. durr.

Once upon a time I used to DJ .. with these ancient relics called ... Vinyl. LITTLE LENNY, whuchu know about dat foo'.

The famous display shelf. Books, DVDs and waste of money Star Wars Transformers. I need to ebay this shit soon who wants em??? Damn YOU and especially Brian (who has no blog anymore??) for hyping me into this crapola.

This was a make-shift Sports Card display since I had already started to pack that stuff. Yes you DO see rookies from Joe Montana, Tony Gwynn, Don Mattingly, Deion Sanders, Jaromir Jagr, Troy Aikman, Bo Jackson, Roger Clemens, Mats Sundin ... nuff. I lost my Kirby Puckett somewhere in this place .. I bet it's behind those shelves.

Of course ... the wrestling figure collection (opened boxes). The LJN Army and the Hogan collection + others . But wait where the hell is Thunderlips???

Oh there he is.

Jordan was big time in my life. Yes I made a wireframe statue of MJ as well as a giant ceramic BBALL Card of his Airness back in Grade 9. F*ck a bowl! ahaha. My CD collection was already packed up too. Too bad.

You've seen the comp desks many times before so no need to show it, but have you ever seen the bulletin boards? Nah .. I still can't manage time wisely.

Ok fine here I am infront of the money maker that you've seen a billion times already.

Next time, you may see some other areas, but bare walls are a coming.

Damn I should have just made this a slideshow. Next time I guess.
